All of us have done it and we all agree that it is a bizarre experience. I hope that all without exception will admit that it is a nightmarish experience when their cars suddenly comes to standstill and refuse to start once again. I had such experience one of my own.

On the first day of my job, I was passing by a fuel court in my company car. I stopped for refuelling. As soon as I put the pump back after filling the car tank, I realized that I did not care to check whether it was diesel or petrol. And you can imagine my plight on finding it out that it was petrol that I loaded into my office vehicle that runs on diesel. I knew that petrol does heavy damages to diesel car, not to mention expenses.

I would be late at the first day and at my first job! However, what was most worrying for me whether I would be able to return the car in its finest form. Wrong-fuelling is not always as expensive as thought. In most of the cases, it inflicts no or little damage on car engine. However, if you delay in calling in an expert and getting the incorrect fuel removed from your car tank, it may lead to heavy damage to your car engine and/or other fuel parts.

And do you know what other most problematic aspect of wrong-fuelling is? Wrong-fuelling expenses are not covered in most of the car insurance policies. It means you have to open your wallet to bear the full expenses. Avoid those expenses; be careful while refuelling your car tank.
