Wrong Fuel Recovery – Myths Crete Skepticism & Fear

Motorists or drivers are not as worried over breakdown problems as they are over wrong-fuelling issues. Despite repeated insistences that mis-fuelling seldom leads to severe consequences demanding heavy repairing costs and/or beyond fixing-up, a larger number of motorists still believe that wrong-fuelling means end of their cars’ life or at least, they have to break their banks in order to get the cars back.

However, that becomes a reality only when the damage is severe and engine is rendered non-working. Let us burst some myths and guide the motorists to the path of enlightenment so that they can make an informed choice.

All wrong-fuelling problems are dangerous

If petrol gets into diesel cars, it poses a real threat to engine. However, damages can be prevented if actions are taken earlier. If unleaded petrol is allowed to remain in a diesel tank for a long time, it could see diesel lubricants coming off the engine as well as other components along the fuel supply channel.

Those tiny parts add to fuel contamination and that only adds to the problems. The matter can turn worse if the motorists drive their cars without realizing or in full knowledge that the cars have contaminated fuel in the tanks as it only circulate the fuel mixture throughout the engine.

Repairing is expensive

It depends on severity of damages. If complications are involved and several parts are damaged, it will take more time to fix up the problems. However, as most of the wrong-fuelling problems are mild in nature, only wrong fuel recovery can solve the problems and that means, the motorists will not have to pay a fortune for repairing.
